Jim Gibson is Chairman of Accurus Aerospace Corporation. Mr. Gibson has more than 30 years of aerospace industry experience and, most recently, was Executive Vice President of Business Development for Synchronous Aerospace Group, an aerostructures supplier, where he was responsible for new business development, strategy and identifying and integrating strategic acquisitions. Prior to joining Synchronous, Mr. Gibson served as President, GKN Aerospace Transparency Systems Inc. and Chief Operating Officer of GKN Aerospace Special Products Group. Previously, he held the position of VP of Sales & Marketing and Strategy for GKN’s Aerostructures Division, and he also worked for TRW Aerospace, Rolls-Royce and Lucas Aerospace in Operations. Mr. Gibson is a licensed pilot and aircraft mechanic.
Robert Kirkpatrick is President and CEO of Accurus Aerospace Corporation. Mr. Kirkpatrick joined Accurus in 2014 as EVP and COO and has been responsible for overseeing the daily operations of Accurus, while also managing the integration of Accurus’ existing divisions, including Accurus Aerospace Tulsa, Accurus Aerospace Athens, Accurus Aerospace Kent, J&M Machine and Accurus Aerospace Wichita. Mr. Kirkpatrick has more than 20 years of experience in diversified roles across the aerospace manufacturing industry. Most recently, Mr. Kirkpatrick was Senior Vice President of Airframe Products for Precision Castparts Corp., a worldwide, diversified manufacturer of complex metal components and products based in Portland, OR. In that role, he was responsible for managing multiple operating locations, supporting M&A activity and integrating new acquisitions and separate operating units. Prior to joining Precision Castparts Corp., Mr. Kirkpatrick held senior positions at Primus International Inc. in Bellevue, WA and Walden’s Machine, Inc. in Tulsa, OK. Mr. Kirkpatrick received his BBA in Accounting and Finance from Northeastern Oklahoma State University and his MBA from the University of Tulsa in 2002.
Jeff Rusiewicz is Chief Financial Officer of Accurus Aerospace Corporation. Mr. Rusiewicz has more than 20 years of finance and accounting experience within various industries around the world. Most recently, he was Chief Financial Officer at eLynx Technologies, a privately held software company based in Tulsa, OK. Previously, Mr. Rusiewicz was the Division Financial Officer at Arrow Engine Company, a division of TriMas Corporation, where he was responsible for all finance and accounting functions for an industrial manufacturing organization. Prior to that, Mr. Rusiewicz was with AMETEK Inc. starting in the Corporate Office supporting M&A activity before being relocated to Tulsa, OK to become the Business Unit Controller for AMETEK Oil & Gas, where he was responsible for managing multiple domestic and international industrial manufacturing locations. Mr. Rusiewicz received his MBA from Oklahoma State University in 2012 and his BS in Mathematics from Drexel University in 2002.
Larry Johnson President & General Manager of Accurus Aerospace Wichita LLC and Corporate Vice President of Operations of Accurus Aerospace Corporation. Mr. Johnson has more than 20 years of aerospace manufacturing experience. He was previously President and General Manager of Accurus Aerospace Tulsa, the foundational asset of Accurus, where he instilled his operations knowledge, manufacturing principles, and Lean concepts into the business. He improved and launched business systems to transform the operational efficiency of Accurus, allowing it to more than double its revenues by 2014. Prior to joining Accurus, Mr. Johnson spent 18 years at Precision Aerospace, Inc., a leading aerospace company focused on military programs primarily supporting F15, F18, C17 and Harpoon programs, in a number of management roles. While at Precision, Mr. Johnson was a key player in transitioning the capabilities of the company from medium aerospace structures supplier to a large complex parts and assembly supplier, supporting the F-35 JSF program with fuel floors, bulkheads and other major structures and assemblies. He received his MBA from Pittsburg State University in Kansas and has a Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
Cory Welscher is President and General Manager of Accurus Aerospace Tulsa and Vice President for Accurus Aerospace Corporation. With over 10 years of aerospace manufacturing industry experience, Mr. Welscher has held several leadership positions in Engineering, Program Management, & Business Operations. Most recently Mr. Welscher was Vice President and General Manager of Walden’s Machine and OMADA International (formally known as Profab), where he successfully drove rapid improvements in a short time. Mr. Welscher has demonstrated a reputation in leading organizations to improved financial results through goal setting, teamwork, and accountability from the top down. Mr. Welscher received his AS in design technology from Rochester Community College and his BS in business management from the University of Phoenix.
Steve Pulliam is the President and General Manager for Accurus Aerospace Athens and Vice President for Accurus Aerospace Corporation. As a manufacturing industry veteran with more than 30 years in the aerospace and automotive sectors, Mr. Pulliam has extensive experience at establishing manufacturing facilities from “Green Field” and “Brown Field” sites. Mr. Pulliam joined Accurus Aerospace Athens from GKN Aerospace, where he served as Vice President of Operations and General Manager, overseeing the site selection and operational startup of the GKN state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Orangeburg, SC. Previously, Mr. Pulliam worked in leadership roles for Federal Mogul, Delphi and General Motors. Mr. Pulliam earned Bachelor of Science degrees in Finance and Accounting from Wright State University in Fairborn, Ohio. He is also a graduate of the University of North Carolina Keenan Flagler Executive Development Program.
Joel Nielsen is President and General Manager of Accurus Aerospace Kent and Vice President for Accurus Aerospace Corporation. With over nine years of aerospace manufacturing industry experience and technical knowledge in Finance, Mr. Nielsen has a track record of successfully implementing metrics and process improvements that drive strong operational performance and financial success. Most recently Mr. Nielsen held the position of Corporate Operational Controller within Accurus, working with each operating site to drive financial performance improvements and growth. Previous to Accurus, Mr. Nielsen held leadership roles within finance for Precision Castparts in the Northwest ranging from Controller to Group Controller, where he was responsible for managing multiple operating locations in PCC’s Northwest Machining Group. Mr. Nielsen earned his BA in Accounting from the University of Washington, Tacoma. He also earned his CPA certificate in 2008.
Andrea Dorr is Senior Vice President, Business Development of Accurus Aerospace Corporation. Ms. Dorr has over 25 years of experience in aerospace business development leadership and technical program management, covering complex metal components, titanium, and carbon fiber-reinforced composites. Most recently, Ms. Dorr was Director of Business Development for PCC Aerostructures, a division of Precision Castparts Corp. Previously, she was Director of Aerostructures for Titanium Metals Corporation (TIMET) and Manager of Aircraft Sales and Marketing at Toray Composites (America), Inc. Ms. Dorr received her BS in Aerospace Engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology in Rolla, MO and her MBA from Washington University in St. Louis, MO. She is also a 2016 Inductee to the Academy of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineers at Missouri University of Science and Technology.
Tyson Toews is Vice President of Programs and Supply Chain for Accurus Aerospace Corporation. Mr. Toews has more than 10 years of experience in aerospace program management, supply chain, production control, business development, estimating, and engineering for complex machined structural components and assemblies. Mr. Toews has been instrumental in Accurus Aerospace Tulsa’s rapid growth and success since 2014. Prior to joining Accurus, Mr. Toews was Director of Business Operations at Precision Castparts Corp. (Walden’s Division). While at Primus International Inc., Mr. Toews completed their Executive Development and Supply Chain Development Programs. Mr. Toews received his BS in Business Management and Marketing from John Brown University and his MBA from Oklahoma State University.
